Gitte Meyer
Gitte Meyer is an independent scholar and writer focusing on the philosophy of journalism and the science-society relationships. She worked as a journalist for 25 years, concentrating on issues related to science and technology. In 2000, dissatisfied with developments both in the world of science and in journalism, she turned to academic work, completed a PhD thesis on the journalism-science relationships (2004) and was subsequently employed by a number of Danish universities. She was most recently employed 2013-17 as a senior researcher at the CBS Center for Civil Society Studies.
