Gjalt de Jong

Gjalt de Jong is a professor of sustainable entrepreneurship in the circular economy at the University of Groningen. He builds on more than 25 years of experience in academia, business and management. He holds an M.Sc. in economics and a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Groningen. He is the chair and head of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship in the Circular Economy Department; founder and former director of the M.Sc. programme on sustainable entrepreneurship; founder and director of the Centre for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, and chair of the board of the faculty’s research institute. He is director of the Center for Sustainable Agriculture Transition.
