Gloria Jiménez-Moya

Gloria Jiménez-Moya is a social psychologist and associate professor at the School of Psychology, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She participates as associate researcher at the Centre for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies – COES. Her research is focused on intergroup relations, prejudice, sexism, collective action and the different ways of confronting social disadvantage. Currently, she leads a three-year project 2019–22, ANID/FONDECYT 11191148 titled: ‘Acting in the face of prejudice: The motivations underlying the punishment of sexist transgressions’ granted by the Chilean National Agency of Research and Development. She also leads psycho-social interventions aimed at reducing gender stereotypes and gender inequality in the school context.
