Glyn Jones
Glyn Jones gained his Ph.D. in sciences from University College London in the United Kingdom in 1995. After holding a post-doctoral research position for three years, he began his career as a language instructor in 1998, working initially in Turkey. In 2001, he moved to Taiwan and taught business English at the International Trade Institute. In 2007, he took up his current post as assistant professor at Ming Chuan University in Taiwan, where he teaches in the English Language Center. Since 2019, he has also served as an IELTS oral examiner with the British Council. In addition to teaching, he has experience as a curriculum designer and as a scientific language editor. He has published and presented extensively on various aspects of literary criticism and is interested in such writers as George Orwell, Graham Greene, William Golding and John Steinbeck.
