Godfre Leung
Godfre Leung is associate professor of art history in the Department of Art at St. Cloud State University. His writing has recently appeared in Art in America, Art Journal and Yishu: Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art, as well as publications by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Walker Art Center, and a catalogue essay forthcoming in Jeremy Shaw: Variation FQ (König 2017). His current book project, entitled Playback: Medium, Media, and Digital Audio in Marclay, Tone, and Eno, analyses critical uses of reproductive audio media and pursues a theory of the digital through the perceptual matrix of the compact disc.
