Gong Baorong
Gong Baorong is a professor at Shanghai Theatre Academy. He obtained a Ph.D. degree at Université de Paris III-Sorbonne Nouvelle. Back to China, he became a teacher at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and served as vice president for eight years in the 2010s. His main research fields are French contemporary theatre and cross-cultural theatre. He has published French Drama: A Century (Joint Publishing, 2001) and many articles. In 2016, he was awarded the Knight of the Order of French Arts and Letters.
