Grace Savina
After painting with acrylics for over a decade, Grace is still uncovering her identity as an artist. Through her art, she is constantly exploring and analysing her own emotions and formative life experiences. She draws inspiration primarily from the female figure, anonymity, and her own struggles with mental illness. Grace is active in her local art community and has participated in various local exhibitions, winning awards for several of her works. She recently received her master’s degree in art education from the University of Illinois, and she has aspirations of becoming an art therapist and using art as a healing tool with marginal populations.
