Graham A. Wilson

Graham Wilson is a computing lecturer at Moray College UHI in Elgin, Scotland, specializing in software development and database design. He has recently completed a Ph.D. thesis, which examined personality and problem-solving in learning computer programming and in the software development industry, aiming to determine potential role suitability for novice programmers. His previous publications have considered the effectiveness and viability of coding bootcamps, successful student journeys in tertiary education, and a study of what makes students succeed, which identified student English qualification and grade level as perhaps the most important factor. He is a professional member of the ACM and currently seeking senior fellowship recognition with the Higher Education Academy.
