Grahame Renyk

Grahame Renyk is a lecturer in the DAN School of Drama and Music at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is the co-editor, with Dr Jenn Stephenson, of a 2017 Special Issue of Canadian Theatre Review about Canadian musicals. As a theatre artist, Grahame has worked on numerous productions in Ontario, Alberta and at the Weston Playhouse in Weston, VT. Most recently, he collaborated as a writer, performer and director on a series of musical comedy revues for New West Theatre in Lethbridge, AB. He is a Ph.D. candidate in the Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance at the University of Toronto, where he is working on his dissertation: ‘From Green Gables to Gander: Canadian musicals since 1965’. He also holds an MA from the University of Toronto and a BA (Hon) in drama from Queen’s University.
