Greer Crawley
Greer Crawley is a senior lecturer in spatial design at Buckinghamshire University, lecturer in scenography at Royal Holloway University of London and editor for Blue Pages Journal of The Society of British Theatre Designers. She has a master’s of advanced studies (MAS) in scenography from The University of the Arts, Zurich and a D.Phil. from the Institute for Theatre, Film and Media Studies, University of Vienna. Publications include: ‘The scenographer as Camoufleur’ in War and Theatrical Innovation (ed. V. Emeljanow) (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017); ‘Dress, time and space: Expanding the field through exhibition making’ (co-authored with Donatella Barbieri) in The Handbook of Fashion Studies (ed. H. Thomas) (Bloomsbury, 2013); Gormley to Gaga: UK Design for Performance (co-authored with Kate Bailey) (V&A, 2012); and ‘Staging exhibitions: Atmospheres of imagination’ in Museum Making: Narratives, Architectures, Exhibitions (Routledge, 2012).
