Gunnar Almevik
Gunnar Almevik is a professor in the Department of Conservation, University of Gothenburg, and a research fellow at the Swedish Royal Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities. Almevik established and directed the Craft Laboratory and is now co-director of the Heritage Visualisation Laboratory. His research occupies cultural perspectives on craft, building and built environments, with a keen interest in methodology and how to bridge theory and practice and involve practitioners in the processes of inquiry.
