Gustav Moorhouse
Gustav Moorhouse is a multidisciplinary designer with a bachelor of arts from Brunel University London and a master of science from Politecnico di Milano. He has been professionally active in the field of User Experience Design since 2018. Before this, he worked as Industrial Designer in Berlin. His mixed background from England, France and Germany allows him to perform international usability testing sessions to identify the pains and gains of products, services and systems. His research at Politecnico di Milano is in the field of design for meaning research focusing on the extraction of the actual words and phrases which are in everyday use by people when describing the meanings of designed artefacts. His research expertise includes thematic analysis and thematic coding to understand why consumers perceive designed artefacts to be personally relevant. His thesis was about understanding the future of automotive needs with a focus on naturalness of driver–car interactions.
