Hadi Osni
In 2023, Hadi Osni earned his Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore (NUS). His thesis centres on digitally reconstructing lost architecture by utilizing the memory of former residents. He was awarded the second prize in the 2017 Berkeley Essay Prize Competition for ‘The Baweanese Ponthuk: Ponthuk Tampilung’. In 2018, he made contributions from his research to Ponthuk Bawean di Singapura, a publication by the Baweanese Association of Singapore supported by the National Heritage Board. Currently, Hadi is a Senior Community Researcher at My Community Limited, focusing on establishing participatory research frameworks and building partnerships with community stakeholders.
