Hanna Järvinen
Dr Hanna Järvinen is the Head of the Performing Arts Research Centre, which is the department of doctoral education at the Theatre Academy of Uniarts Helsinki, Finland. The author of Dancing Genius (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), eight edited books and many articles and book chapters, her research combines dance scholarship with performance studies, history, cultural studies and artistic research. In particular, she has been interested in authorship and canonization, postcolonialism and decolonization, and questions of materiality and contemporaneity in art practice.
