Hannah Schallert
Hannah Schallert is a media and dance artist and researcher, and a Ph.D. student in Concordia University’s Department of Communication Studies. Her research interests include animation, special effects, experimental film, Science Fiction, and expanded understandings of dance in relation to moving image media. Her current research studies embodied knowledge, labour, and performance in the contemporary Canadian Visual Effects industry. Her creative practice includes film, video, and installation, and she is a member of Immer and Roses artistic collectives.
