Hannah Zeilig

Hannah Zeilig is a reader in arts and health at University of the Arts London (UAL) and a visiting research fellow at the University of East Anglia. She has a long-standing interest in the cultural representation of age and ageing, the role of the arts for dementia and the relationship between clothing and creativity for older women and men. She worked on ‘Fine Lines’ in collaboration with Caroline Searing investigating the language of cosmetic advertising pre and post the introduction of Botox. They have most recently explored the role of make-up for older women in the project ‘All Made Up’. Her work is characterized by a trans-disciplinary approach and she collaborates with a wide range of colleagues from clinicians to scientists and artists.
