Harriet Carter
Harriet Carter is a doctoral researcher at Birmingham City University. She attained a BA at the University of Worcester, graduating in 2014 with the Elmley Foundation Award, and an M.Res. in 2017. In 2018, she was awarded AHRC/Midlands3Cities funding to undertake her Ph.D. The practice-based project in painting is situated between Birmingham School of Art and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Her work has featured in group exhibitions in Worcester, Kenilworth and Bristol. She has recently delivered papers at the CARU Arts re Search Conference, Oxford (2019), and Research in the Arts, the Arts in Research Symposium, Łódź (2020).
