Heba Mostafa

Heba Mostafa is Assistant Professor of Islamic Art and Architecture at the Department of History of Art at the University of Toronto. A trained architect, she holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University and an MA in Islamic Art and Architecture from the American University in Cairo. Her research and publications focus on the interaction of politics, religion, and authority in early Islam, especially the Umayyad mosque, palace, and shrine.
