Helen J. Altshul
Helen Altshul is an international development and humanitarian expert with over twenty years’ experience, predominantly in Africa. She has been based at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) since 2015, initially as development partnerships specialist for the Biosciences Eastern and Central Africa (BecA)-ILRI Hub and, for the past two years, as performance and partnerships manager for the global CGIAR research programme on livestock. Prior to that, Helen worked for eighteen years in various leadership and senior management positions in Kenya for the international non-governmental organizations Adeso, Farm Africa and Christian Aid. Helen is particularly interested in issues relating to cross-organization partnerships and agricultural entrepreneurship.
