Helen Williams
Dr Helen Williams is a senior lecturer in criminology at the University of Sunderland, UK. Her current research centres on sexual violence and the criminal justice system, and particularly the treatment of victims from marginalized communities. She is interested in the gendered and classed inequalities of sex and relationships and state and social regulation of sexuality. She has previously written about slut-shaming and the decriminalization of sex work.
