Helena de Barros Soares
Helena Soares is a psychologist graduated from UNISINOS (2005), master (2014) and doctor (2023) in social and institutional psychology from UFRGS (2016). She is a psychoanalyst trained by APPOA (2019). She created and coordinates the Brechó de Troca group since 2009. She works in the psychoanalytic clinic, gives lectures and develops free courses in the areas of subjectivity and dressing practices, social history of fashion, fashion and subjectivity, fashions and consumption practices, fashions and decoloniality.
