Helle Kannik Haastrup
Helle Kannik Haastrup is an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on film and digital media culture as well as celebrity culture. She has published the first Danish-language introduction to that topic, Celebritykultur (Samfundslitteratur, 2020) and contributed to and co-edited Rethinking Cultural Criticism: New Voices in the Digital Age (Palgrave MacMillan, 2021). Recently she has published several articles on film star Asta Nielsen as part of a research project on silent cinema.
