Henri-Simon Blanc-Hoang
Henri-Simon Blanc-Hoang is an assistant professor of Spanish and French at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey and Seaside, California. His research interests include film studies, postcolonial/national and globalization studies, graphic novels and science fiction studies. Blanc-Hoang contributed chapters to the following collection of essays: the ‘World Film Locations’ book series (Intellect Books, 2011–present), Collapse, Catastrophe and Rediscovery: Spain’s Cultural Panorama in the Twenty-First Century (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2014), Comics as History, Comics as Literature (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014), The Camino de Santiago in the 21st Century: Interdisciplinary Perspectives and Global Views (Routledge, 2015) and more recently French Cinema and the Great War: Remembrance and Representation (Rowman and Littlefield, 2016).
