Henry Buller
Henry Buller is professor of geography at the University of Exeter where he specializes particularly in social science approaches to human/animal relations, animal health and welfare and livestock agricultural innovation. He was, for twelve years, an appointed member of the UK Farm Animal Welfare Committee. He is currently leading a major UKRI funded research project into diagnostic practice and antimicrobial use in veterinary medicine and is equally involved in ongoing collaborative interdisciplinary research into antimicrobial use in livestock systems in Thailand, Spain, Brazil and Norway. He is co-author of the Bloomsbury published book Food and Animal Welfare (2018) and has written extensively on animal studies animal geography and farm animal welfare.
