Henry Loeser
Henry Loeser is lecturer in media entrepreneurship at Bournemouth University. He earned his Ph.D. in 2016 for research into the societal attributes of community media at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, and also holds an MA in European politics, a BS in business administration and an AS in mechanical engineering. His teaching specialties include media management and economics, broadcast media, and contemporary media. From 2017 to 2019 he held the post of research fellow at the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School in Tallinn, Estonia where he studied the audiovisual industries’ economics and policies. He also is an independent media advocate, with leadership roles at Community Media Forum Europe and RadioExpert, an NGO supporting independent media development worldwide.
