Herbert Ploegman
Herbert Ploegman is a Ph.D. candidate and was previously a lecturer in the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research interests are the intricate connections between the social and the material world, and he has been particularly inspired by science and technology studies (STS) approaches within anthropology. He is also a former editor of Kunstlicht, Journal for Visual Art, Visual Culture, and Architecture, and has published on the city of Athens and other topics in various outlets.
