Hong-Chi Shiau
Hong-Chi Shiau (Ph.D. 2003) is professor of communications management at Shih-Hsin University in Taiwan. His research examines the intersection between political economy and media culture, and explicates how increasingly communication flows have helped engender new collectivities. He has published articles in New Media and Society, Chinese Journal of Communication, Language and Communication, Leisure Studies, Journal of Asian Pacific Communication, Cogent Arts and Humanities, Cogent Social Science and Asian Cinema and International Journal of Comic Art and also contributed eleven book chapters. Hong-Chi welcomes questions and comments on this article.
