Hussein AlAhmad is assistant professor of political communication at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Arab American University. His ongoing research focuses on Middle Eastern media, politics and ongoing conflicts via the lens of mediatization and mediatized conflict. Key emphasis is on pan-Arab media and its influence on the Arab public sphere.
