Hyun Gyung Kim
Hyun Gyung Kim is a research professor of the Institute of Korean Studies, Freie Universität Berlin. She served as a postdoctoral fellow with the Graduate School of East Asian Studies of Freie Universität Berlin from 2017 to 2019. Her primary research interests are feminist cultural studies, entertainment industry and labour subjectivity, gender/sexuality politics of K-drama and mobilization of sexuality and body in the Cold War era in East Asia. She has published one monograph, several book chapters and journal articles in the Korean language.
