Iain Donald
Iain Donald is a lecturer in design and user experience in the School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment at Edinburgh Napier University. His recent work examines the intersection of games, digital media and history with a focus on commemoration and memorialization. Using game design and technology to explore collective and communal memory in communities impacted by war, the veterans who fought in them and to considering how we represent conflict in virtual worlds. He is co-convenor of the Historical Games Network and co-chair of the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s Young Academy of Scotland.
