Ignacio Fernández Sarasola
Ignacio Fernández Sarasola holds a Ph.D. in Law and lectures in Constitutional Law at the University of Oviedo (Spain). Among other academic positions, he is the Academic Secretary General at the ‘Seminario e Historia Constitucional Martínez Marina’ (Centre of Constitutional History Research), and Researcher at the ‘Instituto Feijoo de Estudios del Siglo XVIII’. He has been a researcher at the Unversities of New York, Florence, Macerata, Lisbon and at the London School of Economics. He is the author of more than 100 studies published in Europe, Latin America and North America and translated into four different languages. In the field of comic books and censorship he is the author of the monograph La legislación sobre historieta en España. Desde sus orígenes a la actualidad; and of a number of articles published in journals such as the International Journal of Comic Art, Belphégor, Tebeosfera, Derechos y libertades, Historietas, Cédille and Revista de la Asociación Española de Neuropsiquiatría.
