Ilana R. Emmett
Ilana R. Emmett is a Ph.D. candidate in screen cultures at Northwestern University and a lecturer at DePaul University. She has presented her work at the Society for Cinema and Media Studies, Screen and Console-ing Passions and has upcoming work in the Journal for Cinema and Media Studies. Her research focuses on gender, disability and religion in relation to the aesthetics and history of radio and television. She received her MA in film and television studies from the University of Warwick.
