Imomotimi Armstrong
Imomotimi Armstrong is an early career researcher in the Department of English and Literary Studies, Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Nigeria. He earned a Ph.D. in African-language literatures in 2020 from Rhodes University’s School of Languages and Literatures, Grahamstown, South Africa. His research interests include African folklore, oral literature and popular culture. His works have recently appeared in outlets including Africa Today, The Literature and Arts of the Niger Delta (Routledge, 2021, Tanure Ojaide and Enajite Eseoghene Ojaruega [eds]), Journal of the African Literature Association, English Studies in Africa, Journal of Ethnology and Folkloristics and South African Journal of African Languages.
