Irene Fubara-Manuel
Irene Fubara-Manuel is a researcher and media artist working in animation, game design and installation art. Her recent research is on the colonial project of biometric surveillance and its contemporary applications in migration. She also writes on sexuality in pop culture, as in her book, Killing Off the Lesbians: A Symbolic Annihilation on Film and Television, co-authored with Liz Millward and Janice Dodd.
