Irene Pujol
Having started her studies in Barcelona, Irene Pujol has a degree in music and musicology by Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris) and an MA in music therapy by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). At the same institution, Irene is currently undertaking a doctoral programme investigating the use of group vocal improvisation as a music therapy technique with a clinical part being conducted within the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. As a registered music therapist, Irene specializes in the area of adult mental health, working with clients with a range of severe psychiatric diagnoses in various hospitals in London. Irene also maintains her activity as a singing performer with various ensembles in London.
