ITIR ERHART
Itir Erhart was born in 1975. She studied philosophy and literature at Bogazici University, Istanbul. She completed her MPhil in philosophy at the University of Cambridge and her Ph.D. at Bogazici University. She has been teaching at Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Media and Communication Systems since 2001. She is the author of the book What am I? (Istanbul: Bogazici University Press, 2008) and co-author of Ethics and Sufism (Istanbul: Sufi Kitap, 2008). Her areas of research include gender, sports, human rights and media.
