J. David Carlson
J. David Carlson is an artist, professor of art, and chair of the Department of Art and Design at Point Loma Nazarene University. Carlson has participated in numerous group exhibitions and his artworks have been acquired by the National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY and the MAK Museum of Vienna, Austria. Play has been a central theme in Carlson’s artwork for years. His current research is inspired by the aesthetics of sports and investigates the playful relation between space, object and action.
