J. Fiona Peterson
J. Fiona Peterson, M.Ed., Ph.D., PFHEA, Professor of Transdisciplinary Education, was previously Deputy Dean, Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies, Auckland University of Technology, Aotearoa New Zealand. In recognition of her strategic leadership and contributions to student learning, Fiona is a principal fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA), United Kingdom, and won a Citation award, Australian University Teaching Awards. She has also been a reviewer of United Kingdom and Australian University Teaching Fellowship and Award applications in creative arts/humanities. Fiona is on international advisory boards for research networks in Communication and Media, and New Directions in the Humanities, and for Art, Design & Communication in Higher Education. She was Leader/Principal Investigator of the ‘Digital Work Practices’ Australian Technology Network Excellence Project (partners RMIT University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Technology Sydney), embedding adaptive digital capability development in curriculum for work futures in design, communication, business management/IT and engineering.
