J. S. A. Lowe
J. S. A. Lowe is a Ph.D. candidate in poetry and literature at the University of Houston. She has presented research in gender and queer theory and fandom studies at regional, national and international conferences such as the Popular Culture Association, Society for Cinema and Media Studies and Association of Internet Researchers; she has chapters forthcoming in two edited collections and is currently at work on a monograph entitled Unbearding the Angel: Slashing Social Media and Queer Female Fandom.
