Jacqueline F. Mullins

Jacqueline F. Mullins received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion merchandising with a focus in history of fashion and a Master of Arts in museum studies at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) concentrating in contemporary and African American art. As the former registrar/collections manager she has worked within various costume and textiles collections assisting with research requests, exhibitions and acquisitions. Currently Ms Mullins teaches history of modern fashion and serves as the study collection supervisor at VCU in the Fashion Department. Her research interests include the development of American couture and the blending of cultures reflected in fashion. She is also a member of the Costume Society of America.
