Jade Whitson-Smith
Jade Whitson-Smith is a lecturer in textile practice at the University of Huddersfield, and a Ph.D. student at the University of Leeds. Her research interests broadly lie within fashion and the environment. More specifically, her work examines everyday garment-use behaviour. Jade recently contributed to Opening up the Wardrobe: A Methods Book (2017), edited by Kate Fletcher and Ingun Klepp. Jade is also a collaborator on The Laundry Pile, an ongoing project to raise awareness of the environmental impact of laundering clothes amongst researchers, and a public audience.
