James Morton

James Morton is an assistant professor of history at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he specializes in the relationship between law, religion and cultural identity in the medieval Mediterranean world. He has recently published his first monograph, Byzantine Religious Law in Medieval Italy, in Oxford University Press’s Oxford Studies in Byzantium series (2021).
