James Nissen
James Nissen is a researcher, teacher and musician. He completed his undergraduate degree in music (Keith Elcombe Prize, Hargreaves Prize), master’s in ethnomusicology and AHRC-funded Ph.D. at the University of Manchester. He is a founding member and the executive secretary of the ICTM Study Group on Music, Education and Social Inclusion, and he has collaborated with arts and media organizations including Band on the Wall, the BBC, Music Action International and Olympias Music Foundation.
