Jane Chin Davidson

Jane Chin Davidson is an art historian and exhibition curator whose research focuses on transnationalism, performance, feminism, global expositions and contexts of Chinese identity in contemporary art. She co-edited Global and World Art in the Practice of the University Museum (2017) and will be publishing Staging Art and Chineseness: Politics of Trans/Nationalism and Global Expositions (2019). She was the curator of Setting the Table: Preparing Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party: 30 Year Anniversary Exhibition at the University of Houston–Clear Lake (2011). The author is an associate professor at California State University, San Bernardino who currently serves on the editorial board of Art Journal and the National Women’s Studies Women of Color Leadership project.
