Jay Burgart is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is passionate about the philosophical elements of film and how watching a film influences the viewer’s perspectives. Her favorite films deal with topics of outcasts, feminism, and queer identities, typically originating from the United States, France, or Iran. She hopes one day to either work on sound design or film festivals and events.
