Jeanmarie Higgins
Jeanmarie Higgins is an associate professor of theatre at the Pennsylvania State University, where she is research director for the Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design in the College of Arts and Architecture. A new works dramaturg in dance and theatre, she publishes widely on the intersection of theory and practice, including process essays about her work with students and professional companies. She is the editor of Teaching Critical Performance Theory in Today’s Theatre Classroom, Studio, and Communities (Routledge, 2020), and her performance criticism is published in Theatre Journal, PARtake: Journal of Performance as Research and in the forthcoming collection, Theatre and the Macabre (University of Wales Press).
