Jemma Naomi Mellor
Jem Mellor is a Midlands-based artist and lecturer with an MA in interdisciplinary arts practice. She has just completed an artist residency at Wolverhampton School of Art, and is the author of What Is the Matter? (Open Source, 2021), a practical guide for developing co-productive material practice within arts disciplines. Employing photography, sculpture, textiles and writing, her work considers the voice of matter and objects as speaking of more than form and instead encompassing histories, myths, political, social and spiritual relations.
