Jennifer Bergmark
Dr Jennifer Bergmark is an assistant professor in art education at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Her research is concerned with culturally relevant pedagogy, arts integration, arts advocacy, community arts, visiting artists and school as a socially engaged arts lab anchored in Everyday Arts Lab (EAL), an after-school visual art programme and art educator early teaching experience. Bergmark also brings her curatorial experience to art education courses that explore collaborative practices and exhibition as a creative practice for K-12 art curriculum. Her correspondence gallery project, to you to me gallery, brings annual exhibitions to public K-12 schools.
