Jennifer Kirby
Jennifer Kirby is an independent researcher in film and television. She was awarded her Ph.D. from the University of Auckland in 2018 and has taught a range of courses in media studies at the University of Auckland and Massey University of New Zealand. She currently works in Learning Design at Te Pūkenga NZ Institute of Skills and Technology. Her research interests include digital spaces and cultures, screen genres and gender in popular culture. Most recently, her book Digital Space and Embodiment in Contemporary Cinema: Screening Composite Spaces was published by Routledge in September 2022.
