Jeremy Morris

Jeremy Morris is an Associate Professor of Media and Cultural Studies in the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is the author of Selling Digital Music, Formatting Culture (University of California Press, 2015) and co-editor of the open access collection Saving New Sounds: Podcast Preservation and Historiography (University of Michigan Press, 2021, with Eric Hoyt) and Appified: Culture in the Age of Apps (University of Michigan Press, 2018, with Sarah Murray). His research interests are primarily focused on software, music technologies, podcasting and the digitization of cultural goods. He is also the founder of PodcastRE, a large database/archive of researchable podcasts.
